I first discovered him as a member of Deep Purple (Mark 3); when i heard him co-share lead vocals with David Coverdale on ‘Burn’ (what an incredible double act!), but he has most certainly built up an amazing portfolio since then. From Gary Moore to Black Sabbath, The Dead Daisies to Black Country Communion, it’s no wonder he is widely considered to be “The Voice of Rock” 🎶 Despite him now being in his 70’s (and after a well publicised life of drugs and debauchery), i was floored to hear how fantastic he still sounds when i saw him this year at the Holmfirth Picturedrome. Enjoy! 🤘 #glennhughes #burnsong #deeppurple #deeppurplemark3 #davidcoverdale #rogerglover #britishrock #70srock #whitesnake #garymoore #blacksabbath #tonyiommi #geezerbutler #trapezeband #rockbassist #rockvocalist #classicrock #thedeaddaisies #blackcountrycommuniun #deeppurplefan #deeppurpleforever #ianpaice #livemusic #holmfirthpicturedrome #fyp #ritchieblackmore #jonlord #heavyrock #heavyrockmusic".At 72yrs old, I’m amazed that GLENN HUGHES still sounds THIS good singing DEEP PURPLE songs!!!! 🔥 | Holmfirth, UK (2023) | “ BURN ”original sound - BoogieUK.
