I was recently getting EOS working on a Parallels VM (I’ll post on how I did it soon - I think I was able to make things work better than the way on the official site) and found a couple of problems: The install script assumes you have wget. With the way I was installing, wget was not present. Maybe this is a noobish failure on my part (since I had to do pacstrap myself) but the script makes no attempt to verify wget is present and doesn’t fail in a graceful manner. The script appends the EOS
